Use the lexicon exclusively, don't try to monitor from the sigmatel even if you leave the sigmatel connected.
I disable my conexant completely in Windows on my laptop because it causes conflicts. basically, what I'm saying is DON'T use the Sigmatel any more at all! In fact, you might even want to disable the sigmatel - but that's a personal choice unless it's causing you problems. I would strongly advise against trying to use the computer speakers as monitors - unless you can plug them into the lexicon.
